The Learning Lab has been serving both Public and Private students in Tucson for nearly 20 years. Our teachers are Credentialed; and many hold master's degrees.

Students are assigned only to teachers with the educational background and experience to provide maximum assistance and progress.

Mary W. Johnson is the founder and director of The Learning Lab. After receiving her Masters of Education Degree, she completed 60 post-graduate hours in educational administration and curriculum development. While raising two children who are both college graduates, she was a middle school principal and teacher for nearly 20 years. She is currently Arizona Certified as:

Administrative Principal
Elementary Teacher
Teacher of Gifted Education

Johnson is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, National Association of Elementary School Principals, National Association of Secondary School Principals, Arizona Council of Learning Disabilities, Arizona Association of Gifted and Talented, and a Chapter Past-President of Delta Kappa Gamma. She has been listed in Who's Who in American Education.
